“Monster Bump – or” is a hands-on phonics

How to Play

Getting started is easy! Just follow these steps:

Game Setup

Print the game board and spinner.
Each player chooses 6 counters in their own color.

Spin and Read

Players take turns spinning the spinner.
They read aloud the “or” word it lands on.

Cover the Matching Word

The player finds the matching word on the board and places a counter on it.

Bump Opponent’s Counters

If the word is already covered, the player can bump off their opponent’s counter and replace it with their own.

Lock Your Spot

If a player lands on a word they’ve already covered, they place another counter on top to lock it—no more bumping!

Winning the Game

The first player to place all 6 counters on the board wins!
