What is "Monster Bump – e_e"?

"Monster Bump – e_e" is a playful and strategic game that reinforces reading skills while making learning exciting. Students will spin, read, and cover words featuring the e_e split digraph, helping them understand its sound and usage in a dynamic way.

 

How to Play

Here’s how your students can start playing:

1. Prepare the Game

   • Print the game board and spinner.

   • Each player selects 6 counters in a unique color.

2. Spin and Read

   • Players take turns spinning the wheel.

   • The spinner lands on an e_e word, which the player reads aloud.

3. Cover the Word

   • The player places a counter on the corresponding word on the game board.

4. Bump Opponents

   • If another player’s counter is on the word, the new player can "bump" it off and take over the space.

5. Secure Your Spot

   • If a player lands on a word they already covered, they can place a second counter to secure it, preventing opponents from bumping them off.

6. Winning the Game

   • The first player to use all 6 counters wins!
