How to Play

Setting up and playing the "Find the Star" game is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:

1. Prepare the Cards

Print and cut out the "ar" word cards and the star card.

2. Set Up the Game

• Spread out the word cards face up on a flat surface so that all students can see and read them.

• Choose one player (or the teacher) to hide the star card behind one of the word cards without showing the group.

3. Take Turns Reading

• The students take turns in a circle.

• On their turn, each student reads one of the word cards aloud, practicing their phonics skills.

• After reading the card, the student picks it up to check if the star card is hidden underneath.

4. Find the Star and Win!

• The player who finds the star card is the winner of the round.

• To keep the fun going, mix up the word cards and start a new round with a different player hiding the star.
